Many people wear white dhotis and white shirts, while others wear saffron and orange garments. Orange and red festoon banners with green leaves stretch along the steps, and a gilded umbrella and a wooden boat with red fabric appear at the lower right near the water. Trees and a clear pale sky sit behind the scene. A few people stand at the bottom step near the water's edge.2009-01-02Wide outdoor view of a large open-air ritual venue beside a rectangular water tank under a clear sky. On the left, an ornate multicoloured ratha-style structure with a golden crown-like top and striped yellow, red and black fabric draping stands on the water's edge beside a red-carpeted platform. A seated figure in red and yellow clothing sits on a small raised stage at the centre. Tiered stone steps on the right are filled with many seated devotees in white, saffron and dark clothes, with red flags lining the railings. Several people stand along the near edge of the tank. Scattered crowds fill the background behind a long wall and trees.2016-12-18March 07 20162016-03-07A large crowd of devotees sits on tiered red steps beside a water body at sunset, many dressed in white clothing with some in orange, pink and teal. A tall bamboo ladder-like structure leans against the steps on the right, and a large dark tree stands behind the seating. Railings line the upper right, and a purple bird-logo flag flies at the top left. The attendees appear to be listening attentively to a gathering, though the speaker is not clearly visible. The scene is a riverside or lakeside sitting area during dusk.2010-12-02December 18 20162016-12-18March 07 20162016-03-07Large crowd of devotees gathered on red-and-white striped stone steps descending to a water tank during a festival. Banana plants and strings of orange flags decorate the area, and trees line the background under a pale sky. The crowd is seated and standing on the steps, facing toward the water.2009-01-02Low-angle photograph of water splashing up from a rectangular tank in the foreground, its droplets backlit by a pale evening sky. Behind the basin, tiered red-brick steps rise on both sides, and devotees in white and saffron-orange clothes sit in rows on them. A red brick building stands in the centre distance, with a small tree and a light pole at the right edge. The water surface reflects the warm glow of the setting sun.2016-03-07December 18 20162016-12-18December 02 20102010-12-02
