On the left, an ornate multicoloured ratha-style structure with a golden crown-like top and striped yellow, red and black fabric draping stands on the water's edge beside a red-carpeted platform. A seated figure in red and yellow clothing sits on a small raised stage at the centre. Tiered stone steps on the right are filled with many seated devotees in white, saffron and dark clothes, with red flags lining the railings. Several people stand along the near edge of the tank. Scattered crowds fill the background behind a long wall and trees.
