A large group of devotees seated in rows on red-painted stone steps, each before a dark stone pedestal with brass vessels and small oil lamps. Most men are bare-chested, wearing white dhotis and rudraksha malas, some with vibhuti marks on their chests. Several hold small items or work at offerings, with flower petals scattered on the steps. Red and orange flags stand at the left and right edges, and a metal railing runs along the right side. A figure in orange robes sits near the upper centre. A man at the lower left wears a red-brown cloth and a white-clad man at the lower right is bald and bearded. Some participants have long hair or blonde dreadlocks. The scene suggests a group ritual session.2017-07-31 +1 copiesA large outdoor ritual gathering of devotees seated in rows on tiered red-brick steps, each person bent over a small black shivalinga-shaped stone with a tall golden spout pouring water or milk. Many are bare-chested men in white dhotis, and women wear white saris, orange shawls and red or pink garments. Red and orange flags line the terrace and a chain-link fence separates the rows. Several participants hold golden vessels and rudraksha malas, and a few stand or sit on the upper steps watching. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible among the people, so the scene reads as a mass abhishekam offering.2016-12-03December 16 20162016-12-16Outdoor Maheshwara Puja on red-painted tiered steps with many black stone shivalinga-style lingams set on pedestals. A woman in white sari sits at center, and a younger man in red trousers and white shirt at left. Brass bowls and offering plates sit around the lingams. Red flags and a loudspeaker stand along the back wall.2016-12-18December 17 20162016-12-17December 19 20162016-12-19A large outdoor ritual gathering on red-brick tiered steps beside a water channel, with many seated participants facing a central area. Rows of black stone lingams stand on the steps, each with a small brass vessel or oil lamp beside it. Participants wear white, pink, teal and patterned kurtas and saris, with some men bare-chested in white dhotis. Red flags line a metal railing at left. The scene resembles a lingam abhishekam rite; the page's Rudra Abhishekam reference is not visible beyond the lingams and vessels.2016-12-16December 16 20162016-12-16December 17 20162016-12-17December 03 20162016-12-03A large outdoor photograph of many men seated in rows on red-painted stone steps, performing puja beside black stone shivalinga-shaped lingams set on round bases. Most men are bare-chested wearing white dhotis with gold or yellow borders, some with sacred threads, and many hold brass kalasha pots and small lamps or bowls. Green tree foliage overhangs the upper steps, and a few women in white saris with gold borders sit among them. Brass vessels and offerings are placed on the steps, and a small banner with a logo appears in the corner. This is a mass group puja scene with rows of participants.2017-05-24A photograph of many devotees seated across tiered red steps in an outdoor ritual setting, with rows of black stone Shivalingas on each step. Most men wear white dhotis and sit bare-chested with rudraksha malas, while many others wear saffron-orange cloths.
