A large outdoor ritual gathering of devotees seated in rows on tiered red-brick steps, each person bent over a small black shivalinga-shaped stone with a tall golden spout pouring water or milk. Many are bare-chested men in white dhotis, and women wear white saris, orange shawls and red or pink garments. Red and orange flags line the terrace and a chain-link fence separates the rows. Several participants hold golden vessels and rudraksha malas, and a few stand or sit on the upper steps watching. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible among the people, so the scene reads as a mass abhishekam offering.
