Outdoor scene on a dirt path beside palm trees and a corrugated-roof shed. A shaven-headed man in maroon-red robes with white tilak and white arm markings stands at left, a dark rudraksha mala around his neck, touching purple and pink colour powder onto the forehead of a young boy in an orange sleeveless robe who is squinting with eyes shut. Behind them another orange-robed young man stands with a red-orange robe and beads, and a drum with wooden lacing rests in the foreground. The setting suggests a festive colour-powder celebration among ashram-style devotees.2014-09-18A photograph of young men in saffron-orange sleeveless tunics and matching dhoti-style cloth, with rudraksha malas around their necks, walking along a dirt path. Several have faces and scalps smeared with purple and pink colour. The man in the centre wears a dark grey t-shirt and black trousers and plays a pair of small hand cymbals (kartal). The man in front wears a rudraksha mala with a red bindi and white vertical tilak, a saffron shawl with gold border and a gold waist sash, and stands with one hand near his hip. Behind him, a shaved-headed man in orange dhoti and shawl with a red bindi and white forehead markings, also wearing a rudraksha mala, looks downward. The foreground man wears an orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders, his head bowed and eyes lowered, one hand holding the cloth at his waist. Behind him, a bald man in orange robes with a red-and-gold border walks with a hand near his waist. Blurred reddish walls and trunks lie in the background.2011-09-19Two smiling men stand side by side outdoors under a tree in an ashram courtyard. Both wear orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulder with gold-edged borders, rudraksha malas around their necks, and pendant necklaces. The man on the left has a red bindi on his forehead and a short moustache; the man on the right has a red-and-white forehead mark and a beard. Behind them, red wooden pillars, a tiled roof and another saffron-clad figure are visible, with a lantern hanging on a pillar at left. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable by appearance, so the page claim cannot be confirmed from the image.2017-08-25 +1 copiesOutdoor photo under shady trees of a long-bearded elder in saffron-orange robes, holding a tall wooden staff and a small bowl, smiling as he walks among several shaven-headed men in brown-red sannyasi robes with gold-bordered dhotis, rudraksha malas and orange shawls. Dirt ground and leafy canopy form the setting. The elder is an appearance-based candidate for a person, identified by his orange robes, long white beard and staff, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so the field is unsure. The other men are devotees or disciples.2013-11-05September 08 20112011-09-08May 17 20112011-05-17October 16 20112011-10-16
