Gold bangles are on her wrist and a gold waist ornament shows at her hip. On the platform behind her sit brass lamps, metal plates and a marigold-garlanded deity murti draped in red and white cloth. Behind the platform, a few men in white dhotis stand near a red-and-white striped pillar and an orange-draped wall, one holding a drum. A carved stone pillar and a brass oil lamp stand on the right. The woman is a devotee performing darshan and reverent worship at the sanctum.2010-12-28February 06 20172017-02-06A photograph of a woman in an orange-brown sari bending forward at a stone ledge, looking down toward a lit oil lamp in the lower left. She wears an orange-red blouse and matching sari-style garment with a golden border, a long white flower garland with red blossoms and gold beads around her neck. Behind her, a red cloth hangs, green foliage fills the background, and another woman in a red sari with gold bands and bangles stands at the edge of the frame.
