A photograph of an offering of sweet pudding in a red-and-brown handled copper or ceramic bowl with a decorative rim, set on a polished silver tray. The surface of the pudding is decorated with cashews and raisins arranged in a wavy line. A small silver cup stands beside the bowl. Scattered pink petals, a fresh green sprig and a few leaves lie on the tray and on the cream floor, with a carved wooden cabinet with a brass handle in the background. No people are visible, and the scene suggests food prepared as a ritual offering, such as naivedyam.
