December 29 20132013-12-29A seated man in a maroon-red sleeveless garment with a gold border and a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulder places his right hand on the crown of a kneeling young man's head, smiling with eyes closed. A small red bindi marks his forehead. A kneeling young man in a dark brown t-shirt with a red rudraksha mala and a white flower garland receives the blessing, his palm resting on his own knee. Behind them stand a golden lion-form throne support, a golden deity murti, and a golden-yellow cloth draped with garlands of green, yellow and red flowers. A wristwatch is visible on the kneeling man's wrist. The seated man appears to be the one being described on the page as the person giving the blessing; his appearance shows a rudraksha mala and bare shoulder but no distinctly identifying cues like saffron clothing or long swept hair, so the identification is uncertain.2013-11-14April 23 20122012-04-23 +1 copiesA man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala necklace, a red headband and a red tilak on his forehead, sits on red and orange cushions and places his right hand on the forehead of a man in a blue collared shirt. The seated man in orange has long swept-back hair and wears a gold bracelet and gold ring; the devotee bows his head with hands together. Behind them is a maroon draped curtain. At the lower right, a third man in white ritual clothing with a gold chain smiles. The older man has his palm raised toward the blessing gesture. Blurred figures in white and orange stand in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in the foreground, giving a blessing during a satsang-style gathering, with distinctive long hair, ornate gold and rudraksha jewellery and a crown-free blue garment.2012-04-20April 23 20122012-04-23 +1 copiesJanuary 11 20142014-01-11A photograph of a long-haired figure in orange saffron robes with a gold-and-beaded waistband and a rudraksha bracelet, smiling as they press one palm onto the forehead of a young man in a deep red shirt who stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Rudraksha beads are visible on the robed figure's arm. A plain pale wall and window sit in the background, with a person in red partly visible at right. Appearance-based identification is uncertain, so this figure is described by role as the robed giver of blessing, with the young man as a devotee receiving darshan.2012-04-16
