A photograph of many dark stone Shivling lingams with yoni-shaped bases arranged in rows on bare reddish-brown earth. Shipping containers and concrete blocks sit in the background. No people are visible. The lingams appear to be stacked for transport or storage at a site.2016-03-04A photograph of a large outdoor field of black stone Shivalinga installations arranged in long rows on a wet concrete platform. Each lingam sits on a round black yoni-peetha base, and small white name plates are placed in front of many of them. Orange shipping-container style structures and a white-roofed building stand behind, with green trees and a hillside beyond. A single small figure in white clothing is visible near the containers, and a few other white-clad people are faintly visible at the right edge. A red and white painted curb borders the platform.2012-10-07January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesFebruary 23 20112011-02-23May 17 20112011-05-17Rows of dark black stone Shiva lingams standing on matching yoni-peetha bases fill the foreground and recede into the distance across a pale stone-paved courtyard. A small clean-looking lingam in the foreground is closest to the camera. Behind a low wire fence and white posts, green trees, a red-and-tan stacked material pile, a blue tarpaulin and a small roofed structure are visible. No people are visible.2011-09-26Rows of black stone Shiva lingams on yoni pedestals stand on tiered brick shelves inside a temple-like hall, lit softly from above. Several lingams in the foreground have smooth polished surfaces and curved spouts on their yoni bases. Behind them, smaller lingams and taller carved stone lingams sit in neat rows. A metal railing edges the left side. No people are visible.2010-11-23February 23 20112011-02-23Rows of black stone Shivalingams arranged on tiered red-brick and grey stone steps, shot in warm low light with long shadows cast across the platforms. The lingams have cylindrical tops and round pedestal bases, and no people are visible in the frame.2010-11-23September 08 20112011-09-08August 06 20092009-08-06Rows of black stone Shiva lingams with yoni bases are arranged on tiered red brick steps in bright sunlight. Brass pots and small brass vessels sit beside some lingams. Behind them a metal railing is hung with red and yellow cloth draping. No people are visible, and the many lingams suggest a large ritual arrangement or abhishekam setup.2015-01-13
