Rows of devotees sit on white floors wearing white dhotis, saris and kurtas, with a few in yellow and grey. Two central aisles of red-brown stripes lead toward a raised stage with a dark maroon backdrop, an orange cushioned seat, and standing figures in white. Hanging decorative banners in yellow, red and blue line the ceiling, and ceiling fans turn overhead. The page associates this with a talk on the sacred feminine, but no seated figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2010-09-17A large white tent hall with a row of decorated hanging cylinders in red, blue and yellow patterns beneath a white ceiling with fans. A standing man in white dhoti and shawl, with a dark shawl border, faces a long line of seated devotees on mats and rugs in white and saffron clothing, arranged in rows across the floor. Beyond them a dark red curtain backdrop, a gold ornate chair and a small raised seat with a framed picture are visible at the far end. A brass plate with offerings rests on a wooden stand in the foreground. Several people sit along the right side and the back rows.2010-11-12A photograph of a large pavilion hall with a white canvas ceiling hung with colourful striped and tasselled decorations. Rows of seated participants in white and saffron-toned clothing sit on the floor before banana-leaf plates of offerings. In the foreground a standing man in a white dhoti and shawl with maroon borders faces the rows, holding his hands together. A gold-ornamented throne with an orange cloth stands at the far end, with a framed portrait nearby and an oil lamp and a brass tray near the centre. Some people are visible at the right in light clothing. Several figures are partially visible, and at least a few of the seated devotees appear to be women.2010-11-12September 05 20132013-09-05 +2 copiesA photograph of a large indoor satsang hall under a white tent-like ceiling hung with colourful decorative banners. Rows of people sit on the white floor, many in white and cream clothing, with a few in green and yellow saris, facing a stage with a dark curtain. On the stage stands an empty orange-cushioned throne-like seat with a small figure in orange seated before it, and several people in white stand near the stage. In the foreground, the backs of seated devotees are visible, including a woman in a pale sari and a person with a grey head. Green leaf decorations line the floor aisles. Many people are visible, though the exact count is hard to determine.2010-09-17A large hall at a Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam centre has a crowd of seated devotees on the glossy white floor, many in white dhotis and shawls, some in yellow and white saris, sitting on mats with brass plates, bowls and small offerings before them. Tall hanging decorations in red, blue, yellow and orange with orange tassels line the white draped ceiling. At the far end a small shrine area with a deity murti and a stage stands in the background. Several men in front, including a bare-chested man with a rudraksha mala, sit with hands folded in prayer.2010-10-17October 17 20102010-10-17A photograph of a large tented hall during a Jayanti Brahmotsavam ceremony. Many devotees in white clothes sit cross-legged on mats in rows, facing a raised stage at the far end. Colourful cylindrical hanging banners with elephant motifs hang from the white tent ceiling. On the stage, an ornate gold throne with flowers beside it, and a small group of figures in orange and saffron robes are seated near a table. Several other people in white stand and move along the aisles. No single individual at the stage is clearly identifiable, so the throne is empty of an identifiable presence in this frame.2009-01-02 +1 copies
