Night photograph of a row of people in white clothes kneeling on mats beside a line of oil lamps with burning flames and small brass lamp stands, arranged along a dim room. A young man in white kneels at the left edge, reaching toward the lamps, while others seated behind him tend the flames. The warm orange light highlights faces and white garments, with dark shadows around the edges of the room.

A photograph of a group of young boys and teenagers seated on the floor in white ritual clothes, holding and tending brass oil lamps (deepa aarti) with lit flames. Several boys wear white dhotis and white shirts, some with red-and-white sacred threads, and one wears glasses. Long rows of tall brass lamp stands with multiple lit wicks line a mat in the foreground, with a brass kalasha-style vessel visible at right. Background figures in white stand near a white wall. Warm lamplight dominates the scene.

A dimly lit indoor ritual scene with three men standing at a raised metal counter, each wearing saffron-orange garments and holding a lit oil lamp or aarti flame. Several people sit cross-legged on a red mat on the floor in front, cleaning or arranging rows of polished brass oil lamps (diyas) and tall dark brass lamp stands. Small oil lamps are lit along the counter, and the setting suggests an evening pooja and arathi. A white-clad seated devotee and a child in a grey shirt are among those tending the lamps.

A photograph of boys and young men in plain white dhoti-style clothing seated on a striped mat, lighting a row of brass oil lamps with flames during an arati. Several brass lamps with multiple wicks stand in front of them, and more lit lamps stretch along the right side. Some boys wear white shawls and one has a red forehead mark. Warm lamplight dominates the scene, with a few other people partly visible at the edges.

A photograph of a group of boys and young men in white dhoti-style clothing seated cross-legged on woven mats, lighting and tending many brass oil lamps (deepas) and multi-tiered brass lamp stands during an evening lamp-lighting ritual. Several lamps flame brightly in the foreground and along a row of smaller brass lamps set out on the mat. Some participants wear rudraksha-style neck beads and bangles. No identifiable a person candidate is visibly present in the frame; the figures are young attendees and ritual participants.

Evening puja and arati in a dimly lit temple hall. Three standing men in white dhotis and yellow shawls hold flaming arati lamps and a lit lamp stand over a long stone altar. In the foreground, several seated and crouching people tend rows of brass oil lamps (deepas) laid on a striped mat, with flames glowing on each lamp. A small boy in a pale shirt crouches at the lower left, and a single lit lamp sits on the altar top. Walls are plain with a painted red and green border, and a metal vessel stands at the left edge.

Night photograph inside a covered hall of a temple-style ritual. Three standing men in white dhotis or kurtas with yellow shawls and beaded necklaces hold lit flame lamps, one on each side and one in the centre, above a long metal counter. In front, several seated people in white and yellow attend rows of small brass oil lamps set on a red-edged cloth, and one kneeling person wears a blue shirt. Many lamps are lit along the floor, with a tiered brass lamp stand at left. The scene shows an aarti with lamps being offered during pooja.

A photograph of a large seated group performing a lamp ritual in a hall with pale walls and red curtains. Many people sit on mats holding lit oil lamps and small diyas aloft, flames glowing warmly in the dim room. Most wear white dhotis and shawls, with some in yellow and orange garments. In the foreground, shaven-headed men in white with orange waist cloths raise lamps toward the camera. Brass plates, a small kalasha and a bowl sit on the floor before them. The setting suggests a pada puja or group aarti offering.

A photograph taken from above of a long double row of seated devotees in a dimly lit hall, lit by oil lamps and candles set on the floor. Most men wear white dhoti and bare upper bodies, with rudraksha malas around their necks, and several hold their hands in anjali mudra. Brass plates with flowers, red offerings, fruit and small oil lamps sit in front of them along the rows. Several people in the front right wear saffron cloth and white garments. This appears to be a group puja or aarti with offerings. No single person in the foreground can be confirmed as a person by appearance, and no throne or distinctive ceremonial figure is clearly identifiable.
