January 1st 2013A man in a rust-red robe and gold-trimmed saffron-gold dhoti performs an aarti outdoors, holding a lit oil lamp in his right hand and a silver handbell in his left. He wears a thick red and gold flower garland and a beaded gold-and-rudraksha style necklace, with white tripundra vibhuti and a red kumkum dot on his forehead, eyes closed in meditative focus. Palm fronds and green foliage fill the background under an evening sky. Ritual objects are clearly visible; the figure appears to be a priest performing puja, and identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-11-26A man with long dark hair, a tilak and bindi, and a dark beard stands outdoors holding a silver aarti lamp with a large open flame. He wears a rust-red shawl over bare shoulders and heavy gold necklaces, bead garlands and gold armlets. Behind him, a red, white, green and blue fringed canopy hangs, and a cameraman films. Other devotees, one with folded hands in an orange garment, stand nearby under trees.2016-08-02September 26 20142014-09-26December 18 20112011-12-18 +1 copiesNovember 22 20132013-11-22 +1 copiesMay 27 20132013-05-27A smiling man in a maroon-red sannyasi robe stands outdoors before palm fronds, holding a brass oil lamp with a flame in his right hand and a silver handbell in his left.
