July 03 20082008-07-03A misty Himalayan river valley with a wide, fast-flowing muddy-grey river curving through the frame. Dense green forested hillsides rise on the left, partly veiled by low cloud, and a distant peak emerges through the fog on the right. A narrow road runs along the far bank, and a few small buildings and green fields with trees sit on the gravel bank at lower right. No people are visible.2008-07-02A fast, muddy river runs through a rocky riverbed in a green mountain valley. Forested hillsides rise on the left, and mist hangs over the slopes. No people are visible.2008-07-02A wide photograph of the Ganga river at Rishikesh under an overcast sky. Shallow, grey-brown water runs over rocks and riffles across the foreground. Forested hills rise behind the far bank, with white buildings and a small domed structure on the shore. A few tiny figures stand on a sandbank in the middle distance, too small to describe further.
