Evening outdoor gathering in front of a white-walled building with a staircase and white railings. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe sits on the steps, with long dark hair, speaking to a seated circle of about twenty people. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, and several wear rudraksha malas; a few women in pale saris and a child sit on the left. The people sit on dusty ground, and a parked silver car is visible at the right edge.2009-02-03February 03 20092009-02-03February 03 20092009-02-03February 03 20092009-02-03Night gathering outside a white two-storey building with a blue and white dove emblem on its facade. A woman in an orange saffron robe sits on the front steps at the centre, facing a seated group of about thirty devotees on the ground in front of the steps. Several people wear white, others wear pastel saris in blue, pink and green, and a few children in white and pink sit in the front row. A man in white stands in the doorway behind the seated woman. A grey SUV is parked at the right edge beside a small garden, and the scene is lit by a white wall light.2009-02-03Night photo outside a white two-storey building with a balcony railing and a silver SUV parked at right. A monk in saffron-orange robes sits on the front steps, while a large group of men in white shirts and dhotis, plus several women in colourful saris, sits on the reddish earth in a semicircle listening to him. A small tree and a dark sky frame the scene. The orange-robed figure's appearance is not clearly identifiable, so no identification is made.2009-02-03February 03 20092009-02-03Night photograph of a group of about a dozen women seated cross-legged on a concrete floor in a covered vehicle-shed area, many wearing white saris or white dresses with orange shawls. Some sit on a blue mat or cloth, and a standing woman in a white sari with an orange shawl holds her hands together in front of her. Parked cars, a blue plastic chair and a metal vessel sit at the edges of the scene, and several women look toward the front of the group.2006-09-23A photograph taken at dusk or night of a large outdoor gathering on a dirt ground. Many people in white clothing with orange-saffron shawls sit in a wide circle, facing a standing figure at the right wearing an orange-saffron robe and a white chair nearby. A video camera on a tripod stands at the centre of the circle. Behind them are a white building, a green gate, a white boundary wall, and a thatched-roof open pavilion with a pink-painted frame at right. A small wooden case sits near the right foreground beside a row of sandals. The standing figure's face and build are not clearly visible enough to confirm identity, so the appearance-based label remains uncertain.2007-02-22 +1 copiesJuly 14 20092009-07-14August 20 20062006-08-20April 17 20112011-04-17
