Below sits a smaller white seated figure in red robes, right hand raised in blessing, with a red and silver backrest and beaded necklace. Brass oil lamps, bowls and vessels stand in front on the red-draped platform, while a white-robed attendant and a green-curtained gilded arch frame the scene. No living people are visible.2011-12-28September 09 20152015-09-09 +1 copiesJuly 26 20142014-07-26A large Shiva lingam-form deity murti is dressed in an orange cloth and draped with yellow and maroon marigold garlands, with a golden cobra hood above and a rudraksha-like bead necklace. Behind it, painted-gold statues of figures in red, blue and purple garments stand on a backdrop of teal and green draperies. In front, a small silver-and-white decorated murti sits on an orange cushioned throne with a beaded garland, and brass offering items including a silver pot, a small cup and an orange fruit are arranged on a tray. A tall brass lamp stands at right beside a green-patterned ritual cloth. No living people are visible, consistent with a puja display of the deity.2014-07-26March 03 20112011-03-03A photograph of a decorated Shiva lingam and deity murti set before a hanging of orange silk and red and green drapes, with a golden stucco-style frame to either side. The black lingam wears a crown-like silver and gold headpiece with green and yellow bead-tipped hangings, a large yellow and magenta flower garland, and a brown rudraksha-style mala. In front sits a small white marble-like arched altar holding a standing silver-toned deity murti draped with a garland. Brass and silver puja vessels, a silver kettle-shaped pot, a tall brass oil lamp with a wide bowl, and a bundled cloth sit on the ground. Stone-coloured statues of standing figures in red and blue dhotis, with bejewelled arms and a necklace, stand behind the scene.2014-07-26A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a large deity murti with a cobra hood, wearing an orange cloth wrap, a multi-strand white pearl necklace, green-stone pendant ornaments on the crown, and a red and white flower garland draped down its body. Two standing figures in orange and teal with gold bangles flank the central figure. In front sits a small white and yellow statue of a seated figure with hands raised in blessing and a yellow turban, holding a yellow flower. Brass puja vessels, a small lamp and a ritual bell rest on the floor. Gold-patterned walls and red drapes surround the shrine. The people are statues and figures rather than physical people.2011-10-05July 26 20142014-07-26 +1 copiesMarch 16 20142014-03-16
