A person in a maroon-red turban and maroon garment with gold border stripes stands bent over at a red shrine, pouring liquid from a small vessel over a black Shivling decorated with marigold garlands. Behind it sits a silver cobra hood and a small lit oil lamp on a red-draped altar with marble walls, brass and silver deity murti and offerings. A rudraksha-style beaded necklace hangs at the chest, and the scene reads as abhishekam at a Shiva shrine.2015-10-27A photograph of a person in a red-brown robe with a rust-coloured turban and a gold-bordered orange cloth, bending forward at a shrine to perform worship. They are placing or touching orange marigold garlands on a black Shiva lingam set on a silver yoni base. Behind the lingam is a silver cobra hood, a conch shell, a brass kalasha-like vessel and small deity figures on a red cloth-covered altar within a red-painted arched shrine niche. Marigold petals and flowers are scattered around. A second person in orange stands in the background at the right.2015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27A photograph inside a small shrine room with a red-painted wooden niche and a marble-framed shrine holding a silver-toned murti and offerings. Three men stand before it: on the left a man with long dark hair and an orange kurta with an orange shawl, in the centre a man with a rust-red turban and a gold-and-orange beaded necklace seen from behind, and on the right a bald man in wire-rimmed glasses, orange-and-cream robes and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace. A framed picture hangs on the wall at upper right and a sign above the shrine reads a Hindi name.2015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27October 27 20152015-10-27A person in a red-maroon turban and maroon robe with gold-striped border stands bare-shouldered at a shrine, leaning forward to pour liquid from a copper pot over a black Shivalinga draped with orange marigold garlands.
