Behind it, blurred devotees stand with hands pressed together in anjali, one woman in a red-orange sari and a man in saffron-toned clothing, while a man in a dark jacket and white shirt looks on. Smoke drifts in the background and long ceremonial staffs rise at the right edge.2014-03-20Close view of a ritual setup on a gold tray decorated with red, pink and white flowers, including frangipani-like white blossoms and red blooms. A hand, partly visible at the top, holds a small white container over the arrangement. Gold bowls, a silver-toned vessel with red petals, a gold cup-shaped stand and a small silver box are arranged among the flowers. Appears to be a puja or abhishekam offering setup. No people's faces are visible.2013-06-25 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a Shiva lingam abhishekam scene. Water streams down from a vessel above onto a dark lingam set on a white marble-like base. Two thick garlands of white flowers, with red rose petals, hang on either side. Small bronze deity figures and a seated figure stand around the lingam, including a standing bronze figure holding an object at left. No people are visible; the background is blurred.2014-03-20June 30 20142014-06-30Close view of a deity murti adorned for worship: a gold-bangled arm reaches into the frame at top left, white jasmine garlands and pink rose petals and garlands surround a gilded shrine with a blue cloth and a small gold pendant. A pink-garlanded gold figure stands at right, and a golden metal stand with pink petals lies at the base.2012-05-10August 05 20102010-08-05A close photograph of an abhishekam at a Shiva lingam.
