A photograph of a smiling man in a maroon-red sannyasi robe with an orange-gold border, wearing a white flower garland with orange and red blossoms and a long ornate gold-bead necklace with a rudraksha-style pendant, standing with bare upper arm and red-orange bangles. He reaches out and places his hand on the head of a younger man in a white shirt whose hands are pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. Behind them other men in white dhotis and white shirts stand under a draped white and cream ceiling canopy with decorated pillars; a woman in a dark kurta stands at right, and a projector screen shows a colourful deity image. The scene reads as a blessing or initiation moment.2013-04-06 +1 copiesA photograph inside a temple hall with arched cream walls and a shrine with a deity murti and garlands in the background. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-red sannyasi robe with a gold border, a silver necklace and a dense rudraksha mala, with white and red forehead markings. He places his right hand on the forehead of a man in a white shirt and rudraksha mala, who stands with his hands folded. The robed man holds a folded white paper in his left hand. Several older men and devotees in white and dhoti surround them, and a red electronic device sits on a stand behind.2012-05-27A seated man in an orange-brown shawl and bare upper torso, with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi and white tilak markings on his forehead, wears a multi-strand garland of pink, red and blue beads with gold ornamental pendants around his neck. He touches the forehead of a man in a white shirt seen from behind, who holds a small white slip of paper and has his palms joined. Beside him a bald priest in an orange-and-yellow shawl wears a rudraksha mala. Behind them are an orange cloth backdrop, a patterned wall hanging, and a large garland of yellow, red and white flowers. The seated figure has distinctive long hair, a shawl and gold necklaces, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance is a probable match for Swamiji giving blessing to a devotee.2012-09-23September 23 20122012-09-23A photograph of an indoor satsang or blessing scene. A long-haired man in an orange-brown sleeveless garment with a gold-beaded necklace and orange-gold waist cloth stands on the right, his right hand raised in a blessing over the head of a kneeling man in a white shirt with palms pressed together in namaste. He holds a folded white paper in his left hand. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red-and-white bead mala and a white forehead mark stands at the far right. On the left, a man in a striped shirt presses his palms together, and behind them a man in a white shirt stands with a red-marked forehead. In the background, a golden deity murti decorated with flowers and a garland stands on a draped table, with a projector screen on the wall and a potted plant nearby. Light hanging orange cloth decorates the upper left.2013-04-22March 27 20132013-03-27A photograph of a standing man in an orange-brown cloth draped over bare shoulders, wearing a long pink-and-white flower garland with green-gold borders and a thick gold-bead necklace over a rudraksha mala. He has long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead, and holds a folded white paper in his left hand while his right hand rests on the head of a kneeling devotee in a white shirt with folded hands, a ritual gesture like blessing or initiation. Gold armlets and bangles adorn his arms. Behind them, a crowd of devotees in white and saffron, some shaved-headed, watches, with red curtains and a gold deity figure in the background.2013-05-26April 06 20132013-04-06 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20122012-09-23July 01 20132013-07-01July 03 20132013-07-03June 26 20122012-06-26 +1 copies
