A photograph inside an orange-draped tent with hanging orange banners and printed panels behind. A central man in saffron-orange robes wears an ornate gold crown, a long rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklaces, and holds a brass bell in one hand and a small bunch of pink flowers in the other; he has a white forehead mark and swept-back hair. To his left a man in a dark-red shawl and a woman in white with a red border stand among devotees. Two shaved-headed men with white-painted faces and gold necklaces stand at right, one holding a brass plate of pink flowers, both in orange cloth. Several other devotees in white and orange crowd behind them.

A photograph inside an orange-draped tent at a Kumbh Mela camp. A man in a saffron-orange robe, a gold crown with a red top, white tilak on his forehead, a gold pendant necklace and a rudraksha mala with silver beads holds a brass oil lamp aloft in his right hand while holding a brass bell in his left. He smiles as people around him stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Beside him a man in a dark maroon shawl and robe also presses his palms together. In the foreground a bare-backed, ash-smeared sadhu in orange cloth holds a brass plate of flowers. Women in white saris with red borders and men in white stand in the crowd behind, with cloth banners and posters on the tent walls. Probable Swamiji (Nithyananda Paramashivam) in the orange robe and crown is performing an aarti with a lamp and bell.

A photograph inside an orange-draped tent during a ritual. A central man in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha and gold bead necklace wears an ornate golden crown and white forehead markings, holding a brass bell in one hand and an oil lamp flame in the other while smiling and facing forward. Beside him, a man in brown-orange robes stands with palms pressed together, and a woman in white and red garments holds a brass oil lamp with flame. Behind them a crowd of devotees, many with white ash marks on their faces and wearing white, red, pink and orange clothing, stands with hands folded. At the right, a bald man in orange holds a brass plate of pink flower petals. Green mats cover the floor. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti.

Photograph of a festive procession inside an orange and yellow tented pavilion at a Kumbh Mela camp. A central figure in saffron-orange robes wears a tall ornate gold crown, multiple beaded rudraksha-style malas and a large gold pendant, and waves to the crowd while walking beneath a dark red ceremonial parasol with tasselled edges. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and saris, red shawls and purple wraps press palms together in namaste or walk along, and a bald man in saffron robes with a mala stands at right. Behind them are decorated kalasha-style finials and a tall striped ceremonial pole. Visible people: about ten to twelve. The central figure has distinctive crown, saffron and mala cues, so this is a probable appearance-based match for a person.

A photograph of a ceremony inside an orange-draped tent. A central figure in saffron-orange robes, a gold crown and a gold-and-red necklace, with a white forehead marking, smiles while holding a lit oil lamp in one hand and a brass bell in the other. Beside him a man in brown-and-orange robes holds a brass lamp with a flame. To the right a bald man with a white-smeared face wears a rudraksha mala and orange shawl and holds a brass tray of pink flowers. Behind them a crowd of devotees in white, cream and pink clothing, many with white ash on their faces, stand with hands folded in prayer. Printed notices hang on the orange tent walls.

A smiling man seated on a decorated float or palanquin at night raises both hands, one forming a mudra, during a procession. He wears a golden crown, orange saffron robes, layered pink and white flower garlands, a rudraksha mala and a heavy gold necklace, with white and red marks on his forehead. Behind him, a canopy hung with orange and purple tassels is decorated with a silver trident. Around him, several men in saffron and maroon robes, one with a rudraksha mala, sit or stand, and hazy lights glow in the background. Appearance-based cues (crown, saffron robes, garlands, gold necklace, rudraksha mala) suggest Swamiji (probable) seated on the procession float, consistent with the page's account of a Kumbha Mela procession.

On the left, a bare-chested priest in white dhoti raises a lamp and bell toward a silver palanquin decorated with garlands and a deity murti. Center, a man in saffron robes and a garland of gold beads stands with hands raised toward the palanquin; a person with long swept-back hair and ornate gold necklaces stands beside him. Near the right, a saffron-robed man with a long beard wears a rudraksha mala with hands folded. Another saffron-clad man on the right, with shaved head, holds hands together in greeting. Gold-and-red ornate palanquin base and orange streamers in the background.
