November 11 20112011-11-11Three seated men in white kurta-style clothes with orange shawls sit in meditative posture on sandy ground inside concentric rings of stones and burning logs that form a fire circle. A small clay dish sits beside the front figure, and the nearest man has curly hair and eyes closed. Dry grass, bushes and trees lie beyond the fire rings in an outdoor setting, consistent with a homa-style fire ritual. No candidate for the page's a person is clearly distinguishable by the required cues, so the appearance is uncertain and all three are described by role as devotees.2006-08-17Five men sit cross-legged with eyes closed on sandy ground, meditating in a row beside shallow ash-filled fire pits (panchatapas-style). Beside a freshly planted sapling, a man in an orange robe and orange turban wears a white flower garland and holds his hands in anjali, with a rudraksha mala visible; a shaved-headed attendant in white stands nearby.
