A young boy in an orange saffron cloth, bare-chested with a rudraksha mala and a red thread, stands at left holding a silver tray of red flowers and offerings. He faces a large black stone deity murti seated on a throne, adorned with a jewelled crown, white and red flower garlands, and a blue and gold-bordered silk garment. A gold-framed arch and blue drapery form the shrine backdrop, with another dark murti partly visible at left. The scene suggests a puja offering at a temple shrine.2019-04-07April 07 20192019-04-07A priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, seen from behind with bare upper back, performs worship before a dark stone deity murti adorned with white flower garlands and red blossoms, wearing a tall green-and-white crown. He holds a silver tray of red flowers and offerings toward the image. The murtis are dressed in red and gold silks and draped with yellow, white and red marigold garlands, and a brass kalasha and oil lamps stand on the stone platform. A second man in white dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged at left with hands folded, a microphone before him. Brass lamps, a red cloth on the floor, orange curtains and greenery frame the scene outdoors. The priest's bare upper body is adorned with a rudraksha-type mala. This appears to be a temple puja or abhishekam ritual.2010-11-12November 12 20102010-11-12A photograph inside an open-sided temple shrine with ornate pillars and a carved ceiling. A barefoot young man in white dhoti and shawl with a gold-bordered cloth, holding a silver tray, stands at left. Beside him, a man in saffron-orange robes and a headband performs an aarti with a lit lamp in front of a decorated deity murti. The central figures are seated on a throne-like dais draped in orange, framed by large garlands of yellow, red and white flowers. A small white statue in orange, also garlanded, sits in front. Brass oil lamps stand at both sides, and a brass vessel with offerings is on the table. The aarti scene is consistent with a puja.2010-12-27June 29 20142014-06-29 +1 copiesA temple ritual before a garlanded deity murti set on a red-draped platform with brass oil lamps and a bell in front.
