A photograph of a screen showing a ritual scene. Several shaved-headed men in white dhotis sit on the floor around a white marble platform decorated with orange and yellow marigold garlands, scattered petals and small brass vessels. A bare-chested priest in the foreground pours or offers flowers over a dark deity murti at the centre, while another man at the upper right performs the rite. The image is a screen capture showing people, not physical people in the room, and the people in view are priests and attendants.

A photo of a shivalinga abhishekam in a temple-style room with a tiled floor. A shirtless priest in an orange dhoti, with a cloth draped over his shoulder, pours liquid over a black shivalinga set on a silver platform inside a large steel basin. Beside him, a bearded man with a tilak and a topknot leans in, and a younger man in a purple-bordered white dhoti kneels at the right. Another man in white stands at far left. Silver bowls, a bunch of white and yellow flowers, a coconut and a brass tray of puja items sit on the floor, and brass lamps stand in the background.

Photograph inside a temple sanctum at a Shiva lingam. A long-haired, bare-backed sannyasi in orange cloth kneels at the silver-rimmed yoni-pitha, bending over the lingam, which is decorated with flowers and bilva leaves. A man in white kurta with a yellow tilak on his forehead reaches in to offer kumkum or an offering, and a second person in orange robes sits at the right edge. Behind the sanctum, a deity murti is draped in turquoise silk and garlanded with yellow, white and red flowers, with coconuts and marigold petals on the floor. A brass oil lamp burns on a tray with ritual vessels at the left, indicating abhishekam and puja.

Overhead view inside a temple shrine. A dark black stone lingam sits in a square silver-edged basin, surrounded by a ring of marigold flowers and scattered petals, with a carved serpent coiled around its base. Above it hang blue cloth, marigold and multi-coloured garlands, and a rudraksha-type bead mala. Two people in orange robes are seated at the lower edge: one at the left edge, partly visible, and one at the right kneeling and reaching toward the lingam with hands near the flowers. Brass ornaments and a silver-framed niche line the walls.

A photo inside a temple shrine centred on a golden circular platform holding a dark stone lingam with a red-and-gold thread wrapped around it and a golden kalasha pot pouring water over it, with marigold and rose petals scattered nearby. A seated man in a brown-and-maroon robe with a long flower garland, rudraksha mala and gold chains pours water while a sannyasi in saffron sits to the left. Several people in white dhotis, saffron robes and tilak marks crowd around a silver railing, and a man in a checked shirt holds a steel bowl. A child in orange clothing stands at left, and a coin-filled steel bowl sits at the bottom edge. Abhishekam rite at a lingam shrine.

Inside a dim temple sanctum, devotees gather around a circular brass yoni-peetha holding a linga, which is being poured over from a brass kalasha suspended by a chain. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti leans over the metal railing to pour or steady the vessel. Behind him a woman in a red-and-orange sari with a flower garland and gold jewellery sits near the railing. Other people wear white dhotis, a saffron-and-white shawl, and an orange sari, and a man in a cream kurta holds a steel cup. Marigold petals, rose petals and green leaves are scattered on the brass base, with a steel bowl of offerings and cash at right and yellow plastic buckets at left.

A temple puja scene: a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a purple-bordered cloth and a sacred thread stands at left holding a silver tray, while a seated attendant at left edge tends an offering. Centre, a deity murti is dressed in red garlands and white flower strands, set on a pink-and-white cloth over a wooden platform. Silver oil lamps flank the shrine, and fruit and flower offerings sit on trays in the foreground. Behind, large floral-garlanded deity figures and a gold curtain frame the sanctum. Two seated devotees appear at the bottom edge.
