A seated man in a rust-brown robe with a rudraksha mala sits on a low red-and-gold cushioned seat before a golden halo-shaped backrest, receiving flower petals from a bowl held by a woman kneeling in orange sari. Around him, boys in saffron dhotis with sandalwood tilak and beaded malas stand holding yellow flowers, while a woman in a white sari with orange shawl and other attendants in cream and orange stand near tables of offerings, plants and a maroon curtain behind. a person is the seated figure, identified by his long hair, rudraksha mala and ceremonial seated role rather than by face; the scene appears to be a puja or padapuja offering of flowers.

A devotee in an orange saffron dhoti and orange shawl kneels low on a white cloth, face to the floor, beside a large silver bowl of yellow food offerings. Women in orange and red saris and white clothing, wearing bangles and gloves, scoop and shape yellow rice from the bowl beside him. A pink folded cloth and a green banana leaf lie in the foreground.
