The figure wears a rudraksha bracelet and a layered rudraksha mala with gold ornaments at the neck. Beside the tray stand a copper kalasha-style vessel, a small brass pot and a glowing oil lamp. Behind is a colourful striped cloth and a green leafy decoration. Only the arm, torso and hands are visible, so the face is out of frame.2016-12-19July 09 20122012-07-09December 19 20162016-12-19Close view of a ritual offering in a temple setting. The round steel tray holds two coconuts wrapped in yellow-orange thread, with gold-coloured trinkets and loose yellow strands spilling over the rim. Behind, a lit oil lamp with a brass lamp holder, a green leafy plant, a copper vessel and small brass cups sit on a decorated altar with pink and red cloth. Warm lamplight gives the scene a devotional, puja-like atmosphere.2016-12-19Close-up of hands handling a ritual offering on a silver-toned tray with scalloped rim. A yellow turmeric-coated coconut or kalasha-like vessel with a yellow thread wrapped around it sits on the tray, dusted with rice grains and turmeric powder. Yellow flowers lie beside it. A man's wrist wears several rudraksha mala bracelets with a colourful woven band, and another person's hand in a red thread bracelet touches the flowers. The setting is a blurred ritual space.2015-11-18Close photograph of two hands passing a shallow silver plate holding two brown husked coconuts with fibrous husks and a few green palm or grass leaves. The left hand, wearing gold beaded bangles and a blue and red thread bracelet, rests on the coconuts while the right hand, with a dark wristwatch, holds the plate from below. Dark red draped fabric and pink-lit pillars fill the background. No faces are visible and no a person candidate appears in the frame.2015-10-18October 18 20152015-10-18
