A photo of a seated man in an orange-saffron turban and orange robe, wearing a multi-coloured marigold and rose garland, reaching his right hand out toward the bowed head of a sadhu with a tall matted hair bun seen from behind. The sadhu is bare-backed, body smeared with ash, wearing a grey-white rudraksha mala at the neck and a beaded armlet with red flowers, and an orange shawl draped over the shoulder. Behind the seated man stands an ornate gold throne with scrollwork and a large golden trident. A man on the left wears white with a red tilak, and another orange-robed figure stands at the right edge. The gilded throne backdrop and ceremonial setting suggest a blessing or darshan moment. a person: the seated man in orange turban and marigold garland; this is an appearance-based label only.2016-05-02A seated man in saffron robes with long dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, his right hand resting on the head of an elderly man in a white shirt and white dhoti who bends forward, leaning on a blue cane. A younger attendant in orange robes and a gold-beaded garland stands behind the throne. Behind them hang yellow and orange marigold garlands and a flower arrangement of pink and yellow gerbera daisies. A tray of flowers and offerings sits on a white-draped table. Red carpet covers the floor. The seated man has long swept-back hair, orange robes and a crown-less throne setting, which matches the appearance-based cues for a person, shown here as a blessing being given to a devotee.2009-01-24A seated man with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and an orange-red shawl over a red sleeveless top sits on a gold-embossed throne upholstered in red zebra-striped cushions, with a pink and yellow flower garland at the top of the throne. He rests his right hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in an orange kurta and orange dhoti, whose hands are pressed together in anjali. A younger standing attendant in orange robes and a rudraksha mala watches beside them. A white cloth covers the floor in front of the throne and a woven bamboo-style wall with leafy decorations stands behind. The scene appears to show a blessing or darshan. Probable Swamiji: the seated man has long swept-back hair, a red shawl over ornate attire, and a gold throne setting, which are distinctive presentation cues.2008-10-11A man seated in an orange upholstered armchair on an orange-draped platform, wearing an orange robe and a long dark rudraksha mala, with a red tilak on his forehead, hands raised in front of him in a gesture of blessing. Carved stone panels line the wall at right.2010-07-14July 08 20102010-07-08A photograph in a hall with red velvet drapes. A man with grey hair, wearing a white kurta and a rudraksha mala with a small name badge, kneels on a white-draped platform and touches the forehead of a seated figure. That seated figure has long swept-back dark hair, wears an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala, and sits on a white-covered couch beside a tall brass oil lamp with a flame and flower. Behind them a man in orange robes sits on the floor, and a potted palm stands at left.
