The hand holds a small pinch of the yellow mixture, palm up. The bowl has embossed floral and arched patterns on its rim. Behind, a blurred figure in a yellow garment with a red sash and a purple backdrop suggests a ritual setting, but no face or identity is clear.2014-12-28September 30 20162016-09-30A close photograph of two pairs of hands handling a mixture of grain and vegetables. On the left, a forearm with a red thread tied at the wrist passes a golden, crumbly mix from one hand into the other. On the right, an older woman's hands with rings and a wristwatch cup a portion of the same mixture over a steel tray. A red wall and steel cooking vessels blur in the background.2015-12-20 +1 copies
