Bright orange flames rise from a small fire pit on top, with wood pieces burning and smoke drifting upward. Brass or steel vessels, a ladle and dried straw bundles sit in the foreground. Behind the altar stands a tall ritual frame with stacked brass disc-shaped ornaments and a copper-toned vessel, with a red cloth visible at left. No people are visible in the frame; the darkened background suggests an evening ritual setting.2017-12-20Close view of a homa fire built on stacked yellow-orange and reddish bricks, with bright orange flames rising from offerings wrapped in white cloth.
