September 29 20162016-09-29September 29 20162016-09-29A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne before a red curtain, with a golden trident behind him. He wears a rust-red robe draped over one shoulder, a long rudraksha mala with a gold chain, and a red-and-orange vibhuti/kumkum mark on his forehead. His long dark hair is swept back. He rests a hand on the head of a young boy in a white shirt and white trousers who wears a red-orange sash and stands before him, while another seated person is partly visible at the lower right edge. Appearance cues including the long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, gold necklace, robe and throne are distinctive; the page identifies this event as featuring Swamiji, so this is a probable identification based on those cues. One physical person is in the frame besides the boy and the partially visible figure.2016-09-29April 04 20172017-04-04A photograph of a seated man in maroon-brown sannyasi robes on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, his right hand raised to touch the forehead of a young boy in white clothes. The seated man wears a pink-and-white flower garland, a rudraksha mala, a gold necklace and a white tilak on his forehead. A tall gold trident stands beside the throne, and a red-lit stage backdrop and stage lights are behind. The boy wears a white kurta and holds a small tray. Another person's hand holds a plate at the right edge. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, given the long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, ceremonial gold necklace and saffron-brown robes, shown in a seated, honoured role.2017-04-05April 04 20172017-04-04April 03 20172017-04-03April 25 20172017-04-25A seated man in a rust-orange robe sits on an ornate white-and-silver throne with red cushion, wearing a large gold ceremonial necklace with a central gold pendant, rudraksha-style long braided hair, white sacred ash lines and a red tilak on his forehead. A young boy in a white shirt stands before him with palms joined, while the man's hand rests on the boy's head in blessing. Behind them, green leaf garlands decorate the setting, with gold ceremonial lamps and a golden deity figure in the background. An older man wearing a gold necklace and sacred marks is partly visible at the left edge. Appearance cues are consistent with the page's identification of the seated figure, so the presence is a probable match on the page's stated event. a person is seated on the throne, giving a blessing to a boy with folded hands.2017-02-13A seated man with long dreadlocked hair, a white forehead band, a beard and a rust-orange cloth draped over his shoulders rests his hand on the head of a kneeling young boy in a red shawl, who holds up his palm. Both sit before an ornate silver throne covered in leopard-print upholstery, with carved wooden panels behind them. The seated man's appearance is consistent with the page's identification of a person, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm it, so this is a probable identification only; the boy is a devotee receiving a blessing.2018-05-18April 04 20172017-04-04April 04 20172017-04-04
