A man in a saffron-orange garment with a rudraksha mala is pouring white liquid from a silver vessel over a stone object at night, as a milk abhishekam is performed. He wears a white tilak on his forehead with a red dot and has long, swept-back dark hair, with distinctive ceremonial cues consistent with the page's a person reference. The stone pillars of a temple are visible behind him, and a white-clad person is partially visible at the right edge. The liquid splashes in a bright column against the dark background.2007-02-16December 25 20072007-12-25February 16 20072007-02-16A photograph of a temple abhishekam at a Shiva shrine. A man in orange robes with white vibhuti markings on his forehead and arm pours water from a gold pot over a dark stone lingam. Beside him a younger boy in orange robes, wearing a beaded necklace, holds a brass kalasha. Behind the lingam stands a decorated golden arch, and a garland of yellow and pink flowers hangs nearby. Two people are visible, and the scene is lit warmly against dark surroundings.2009-12-16June 07 20162016-06-07A photograph of a white-painted shrine niche outdoors, with a man in a red sleeveless top and an orange sash, garlanded with white jasmine and red flower strands, reaching up with one hand on the white wall and the other holding a golden vessel to the shrine. Behind him, a woman in orange robes stands near a saffron flag on a pole, and other devotees, including a man in a white shirt and an older woman in a sari, look on. Flowers and a small pot with purple and pink blossoms rest in front of the shrine, and a video camera appears at the right edge.2009-08-08A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a long gold bead necklace stands at a white-coated shivalinga, pressing a white powder onto the top of the lingam with one hand while holding a pink flower arrangement. A red bindu is on his forehead. The black background suggests an indoor ritual stage. A second person's arm is partly visible at the lower right. The figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on his long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and gold beads, and the page indicates he is present at this event.2010-02-12A man in profile, wearing an orange sleeveless garment and a thick garland of yellow marigolds, white flowers and magenta and red blossoms draped over his shoulder. His long dark hair falls down his back and he has a white vertical mark on his forehead. His right arm is extended toward a deity murti or altar decorated with flowers, and behind him a large gold-leaf ornamental frame glows in the background. The setting appears to be a temple sanctum during a puja.2009-12-23February 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copiesDecember 16 20092009-12-16A man with long dark swept-back hair, a white vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead, and bare shoulders wrapped in an orange saffron cloth with a dark rudraksha-style mala, pours milk from a silver vessel in a stream over an unseen object at night. Stone carved pillars and architectural details of a temple frame the scene. A person in orange garments is partly visible at lower left and a figure in white stands at right. Swamiji (probable) is shown as the central figure performing the abhishekam, based on long hair, orange clothing and rudraksha mala.2007-02-16November 28 20142014-11-28
