A photograph in a dim tent with a green floor mat and white draping. A man in orange and white robes lies prostrate on the floor, face down on white cloth scattered with rose petals and orange marigold petals. Seated on a raised white-draped bed with a leopard-print cushion, a bare-chested figure with long dark hair wears an orange shawl, a white and orange marigold garland, and a dark rudraksha mala, one hand resting on the prostrate devotee's head. Several standing people in white kurtas and orange shawls stand at the left edge, and a folded white cloth lies on the bed. The scene reads as a devotee receiving blessing in darshan.2006-06-04A photograph from a ritual event in a tented hall. A long-haired man seated on a white-draped low platform smiles broadly; he wears an orange garment, white flower garlands and a rudraksha mala, and he is bare-chested. Rose petals and orange marigold garlands lie around the platform. In front of him a man in a white dhoti-style cloth kneels and presses a white towel to his face, while a garlanded figure in orange and white and others in orange shawls and white kurtas stand nearby. Orange marigold garlands hang on the tent behind, and a banner reads Himalaya Yatra in the background. a person cues: long swept-back hair, orange ornate clothing, rudraksha mala and flower garlands, seated in a place of honour, so the seated figure is marked as a candidate.2006-06-04A photograph of a pada puja ceremony. A person in orange robes and a long orange garment with a beaded necklace sits on an orange-draped seat, their bare feet resting on a cushion decorated with yellow and orange flower garlands. A devotee in a white shirt and white dhoti bows forward, placing his hands on the orange cloth at their feet, with rose petals scattered on the floor. Two men in white shirts wearing white garlands with orange and pink flowers stand behind, one gesturing with his hands. A man in white clothing with an orange shawl stands at the right edge, and a brass bowl of flowers and fruit sits on a wooden table at the left. The person seated is identified by appearance only as a person, seated with long swept-back hair and ornate beaded adornments.2010-07-24Photograph of a seated figure in a saffron-orange robe with a gold border, long dark swept-back hair and a marigold garland, sitting on an orange-draped bed while a devotee in white kneels and bows his head to the figure's feet on a pink and orange cloth scattered with marigold petals. Beside them a younger man in orange robes with a gold chain sits to the side, and an older bearded man in white with a red headwrap sits on a blue mat near a red stool in the background. The room has white walls, curtained windows and a small altar area at the back. The appearance cues of the seated figure, long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a marigold garland, are consistent with a probable Swamiji, who is being honoured by a devotee in a ritual of padapuja. Four physical people are visible.2008-06-09December 25 20052005-12-25April 19 20082008-04-19A photograph of a long-haired man with a rudraksha mala and gold-bordered white cloth sitting on a white-draped throne decorated with flower garlands, his hands raised in a blessing gesture. Several devotees in white dhotis and orange shawls bow prostrate at his feet, with more people in white standing behind. A white pedestal fan stands in the background, and a multi-coloured flower garland hangs at the left edge.2006-07-30A photograph of a seated man with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing a white garment with gold trim, a rudraksha mala and a large garland of white flowers at his side, smiling as he rests a hand on a prostrate devotee. Several people in white and orange clothing lie face-down on a red carpet in front of him, with a standing crowd in white and orange shawls behind and a small fan at the left edge. The pose suggests a devotee's pranam before a seated spiritual teacher, and the appearance-based cues of long hair, rudraksha mala and gold-trimmed white garment make the seated man a probable Swamiji in person.2006-07-30September 30 20082008-09-30A photograph of a pada puja. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a beaded orange-and-gold rudraksha-style mala smiles while one hand rests on the head of a man bowing forward at their feet; the bowing man wears white and has a white flower garland.
