The pole stands on an ornate stone pedestal carved with figures and flowers scattered at its base. A monk in orange-saffron robes and a beaded mala stands at the pedestal, reaching up toward the pole, apparently guiding the flag's rope during a flag-hoisting ritual. A second orange-robed figure is partly visible behind the base. Under a large corrugated metal roof, strings of orange triangular pennants hang overhead, and palm trees line the background. Several devotees in white and orange clothing sit at the right edge. A red-orange temple building and a stone-carved deity figure appear at left and lower right.2010-10-18 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copies
