September 19 20132013-09-19A photograph inside a hall with a red curtained stage and a projector screen. A smiling man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing a heavy gold necklace with a pendant, gold armbands and bangles, and an orange turban with a red tilak, stands at the center extending his hand toward a line of young saffron-robed children and devotees. Several children in orange robes, some with shaved heads and white forehead marks, hold orange cloth bundles. A man in white, a bearded man in the left foreground and an elderly person hold papers. On the right, a table displays rudraksha malas and small items. The scene resembles an ashram blessing or distribution, with the central figure appearing to be a person in saffron attire with gold ornaments and a turban.2013-08-03September 19 20132013-09-19Indoor hall photo of a figure in an orange turban, rust-orange robe with gold border and a long coral-beaded mala, reaching out to touch the heads of shaven-headed young boys in saffron robes. Behind them, men in white dhotis and devotees with palms pressed together stand along a barrier, and a red-curtained stage and framed picture are visible. The appearance of the central figure matches the a person candidate cues (turban, saffron-orange ornate clothing, mala), but identity is uncertain from appearance alone. A photographer's camera is at the right edge.2013-09-19Indoor hall photo of a man in an orange-brown turban and saffron-and-gold shawl, with a long pink-beaded mala and matching bead necklace, reaching out to touch the outstretched hands of several shaven-headed young boys in orange robes who hold small folded cloths. Behind them stand men in white dhotis and orange clothing, with a seated elderly man in white and a woman in a patterned top at right. Red curtains, red floor cushions, a projector screen and a small altar with deity murti are visible in the background.2013-09-19September 19 20132013-09-19May 20 20132013-05-20March 10 20132013-03-10March 10 20132013-03-10A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a tall swept-back black turban-style hairstyle and white forehead markings sits on a leopard-print cushioned seat, holding a small object above a brass oil lamp and a trident-topped stand. A young boy in orange and gold dhoti with rudraksha beads and a gold-trimmed shawl kneels with cupped hands before him. Other young boys in orange and gold robes stand behind, with a wooden pillar and a glass box of ceremonial items in the foreground. The scene suggests a ritual offering in a courtyard.2016-01-11September 13 20142014-09-13A man in an orange-brown dhoti-style wrap with a golden border and a long rudraksha mala with ceremonial gold beads stands on the left, with long swept-back dark hair and white tilak markings on his forehead, placing his hand on the head of a shaved-headed young boy. Several shaved-headed boys and youths wear orange saffron wraps and beaded necklaces, and one boy in the foreground holds an orange cushion. A young woman in a red sari with a golden border and a red bindi stands behind them in a hall with ceiling lights and white chairs. The man's appearance with long hair, ornate gold-bordered clothing and rudraksha malas is consistent with the page's subject, so this is Swamiji (probable), blessing the group of young initiates.2013-07-27
