In the foreground a brass lamp with lit oil lamps blurs in front of a monk in orange seen from behind. The scene is set on a glossy floor with a red patterned rug. Five people are visible.

A photograph of a temple-style hall with brightly painted blue walls and two large multi-armed guardian figures in red and orange holding tridents and staffs, one on each side of a central doorway. In the doorway, a figure in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits on a golden throne with an ornate arched back, with a red cushion. In the foreground, a shaved-headed attendant in orange robes holds a tiered brass oil lamp with several flames. Two women in pink and purple sit at left, one with hands folded, and a man in white sits at right on a patterned mat near a small figure. Brass lamp stands flank the throne area. Photograph of a temple shrine with colourful painted walls. Two large painted guardian figures with multiple arms and trident-like weapons flank a gilded throne backed by a golden arch. Seated on the throne is a figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala, the statue appearing to be a depiction, possibly a statue, rather than a living person. Multiple brass oil lamps with lit flames stand in front, and red cushions and carpets fill the room. In the foreground, a shaved-headed priest in orange clothing faces the shrine from the left, and two women in white and red saris sit near the lamps, making offerings. The scene suggests a puja or aarti at a shrine.
