A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a standing statue of a bearded sage. A hand at the top left pours liquid from a vessel over the statue's head, and liquid runs down its face, chest and robe. The figure wears a rudraksha mala of beads across the chest, a draped sannyasi-style cloth, and a tilak on the forehead. Its right hand is raised in blessing and its left rests at the side. It stands on a round pedestal before a golden lattice screen with cross-shaped cutouts and coloured glass panels. A caption at the bottom reads 'nithyanandotsavam day 18 - abhishekam to sph swamiji'.2021-01-15A small carved figurine of a bearded male sage stands on a round base, with a hand pouring liquid from above onto its head during an abhishekam. The figure wears a draped saffron-toned cloth, a long rudraksha-style bead mala, and a red tilak on the forehead, with its right hand raised in blessing. Behind it is an ornate carved wooden lattice screen with cross-shaped cutouts and coloured glass panes. The statue is a depiction, not a physically present person, so no living people are visible. Caption text along the bottom reads nithyanandotsavam day 18 - abhishekam to sph swamiji.2021-01-15ADIKAILASA on 1/15/20212021-01-15ADIKAILASA on 1/15/20212021-01-15ADIKAILASA on 1/15/20212021-01-15ADIKAILASA on 1/15/20212021-01-15October 17 20162016-10-17August 29 20182018-08-29ADIKAILASA on 2/28/20212021-02-28 +1 copiesADIKAILASA on 12/25/20212021-12-25A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a wooden murti of a seated figure with a moustache and ornate necklace, against a gold-carved shrine background. A bare-chested man with long swept-back hair, a tilak-like white marking on the arm and chest, and red rudraksha malas pours water from a silver kalasha over the murti's head.
