A smiling man with long dreadlocked hair and a white vertical tilak with a dark central bindu sits on an ornate silver throne decorated with embossed floral and figural relief. He wears a rust-orange sleeveless wrap and multiple strands of rudraksha mala, holds a handheld microphone in his right hand, and has yellow turmeric-like paste on his left hand. A gold chain hangs at his neck. A cream towel rests over his lap while a woman in a white top with a dark mala beads around her neck attends to his bare foot. Behind him, an older woman with a red bindi and a younger woman with a white cloth over her shoulder look on, and a bald man with a white tilak stands nearby. A silver plate sits in the lower left corner. The swami is shown smiling with a serene expression, and the scene suggests a padapuja or foot-washing ritual. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a gold necklace.2008-12-24A photograph of an outdoor satsang on a sunlit white wall.
