An orange building with a green roof is behind the crowd.2016-02-17October 30 20162016-10-30A nighttime outdoor procession on a dirt road, lit by a bright spotlight from the left. Devotees walk in a crowd; several women wear orange and red saris, and one woman in orange carries a yellow-gold wooden tray or frame. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti stands at the centre, and a man in a cream dhoti and shawl walks at the left. Children in red and orange clothes are near the front. Orange umbrellas appear in the background, and dark trees surround the scene.2016-09-15Night procession photographed with a bright flash-like light glare in the centre. Rows of people in orange and red saffron robes walk at left, several with arms outstretched, and a large dark umbrella or canopy sits over a palanquin or raised platform. Red flags on poles stand against the dark background, and illuminated vehicles or structures glow with green and yellow lights at the top. Dark-clothed people and spectators fill the right side. The scene reads as a nighttime ratha or procession with devotees.2017-08-25February 17 20162016-02-17February 17 20162016-02-17A night procession on a dirt path, lit by a bright spotlight and a glowing illuminated chariot or ratha in the background. A figure in the centre wears a deep orange-red robe and a long garland of white and blue flowers, and stands beneath a dark ornate umbrella held aloft by an attendant. Beside and behind him, men and young boys in saffron and red dhotis and rudraksha malas walk alongside a crowd of onlookers, some in yellow kurtas and blue trousers, some holding up phones. The scene is dark except for the lights and glowing chariot.2016-02-17
