December 23 20162016-12-23A life-sized statue or murti of a figure with long dark hair, a tall jewelled crown and an ornate red and gold garment with heavy gem-studded necklaces and rudraksha-style malas, seated before a dense arch of pink lotus buds and marigold, rose and leaf garlands in yellow, orange, white and purple. Gold filigree carved panels and an orange silk drape frame the scene. The figure is not a physical person, so no one is present in the scene.2016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23April 05 20122012-04-05A seated man in an orange-red turban with a gold ornament and a gold-trimmed saffron cloth wears a heavy gold multi-strand necklace and gold armlets. He sits on a leopard-print cushioned seat in front of an ornate silver-embossed backdrop, with a microphone on a stand before him and a silver staff beside him. Yellow and red flower garlands frame the scene, and a small table with a white cup stands at left.2017-10-18August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesJanuary 06 20132013-01-06A life-size figure is dressed in ceremonial finery, with long dark hair swept back under a jewelled headpiece and a silver-toned face and raised hand in a blessing gesture. It wears a rust-brown garment, a heavy layered necklace of rudraksha beads with red and white stone ornaments, and a thick garland of yellow flowers draped across the shoulders. A golden-yellow cloth forms the backdrop. The figure appears to be a statue or effigy rather than a living person, so a person is set to depiction with an uncertain appearance-based label given the lack of a clear identity cue.2016-12-13December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesA gilded statue of a seated figure, shown as a golden murti, sits on a leopard-print cushion before a silver-repoussé backdrop. The figure wears a jeweled crown with red stones, a gold and diamond-style necklace, layered rudraksha-style malas, and a red-maroon dhoti with gold-trimmed sleeves. Garlands of red roses, yellow marigolds and white flowers, with blue-and-white beaded strands, drape the figure and frame it. The hands rest in a meditative mudra. No living people are visible.2016-12-18 +1 copies
