November 16 20152015-11-16A photograph of a ceremonial aarti in a hall. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest with a shaved head, wearing a red-and-gold dhoti-style cloth and a beaded rudraksha-type mala, raises a silver multi-flame lamp high with his right arm. Seated on an ornate gold throne with a tiger-skin cushion is a figure in saffron robes with a saffron turban, a rudraksha mala and a gold-coloured necklace, with a tiger-skin cover on the footstool. The backdrop is a purple cloth printed with large deity figures, flanked by tall brass lamps and a brass trident, with a red valance above. Appearance cues for the seated figure are visible but the image is small, so identity is uncertain; the seated figure is described by role only.April 10 20142014-04-10A temple interior with a bald priest seen from behind, wearing an orange-brown cloth draped over his bare upper body and a rudraksha mala around his neck and arm. He holds a tiered silver aarti lamp with lit flames toward a shrine. Behind him, a framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" sits within an ornate gold frame, showing a figure in orange clothing and a saffron head covering. Two painted deity murti figures with multiple arms stand flanking the shrine, and brass lamps line the red-carpeted floor. A woman in orange clothes stands at the left edge, with other devotees in saffron behind the priest near the shrine.2014-04-22November 16 20152015-11-16A bare-chested man with a dark rolled turban and a red tilak on his forehead performs aarti, holding a silver lamp with a lit flame aloft in his right hand. He wears layered rudraksha malas, a heavy ceremonial gold necklace and beaded bracelets, with white ash markings on his arms and chest and a rust-coloured dhoti. Behind him a wooden door, a wall with small framed pictures and a framed photo collage are visible, and several seated devotees in white and orange clothes with white forehead markings sit in the lower right and background. The man's appearance with distinctive adornments, turban and rudraksha matches the page's reference to a person, though the appearance is uncertain.2019-05-18April 10 20142014-04-10August 26th 20152015-08-26September 24 20122012-09-24May 08 20122012-05-08May 18 20192019-05-18Ritual scene in a hall with a large ornate gold throne behind.
