Photo of a temple shrine with two large golden-faced deity murtis, one wearing a crown and garlands, the other with a tall decorated headdress, seated behind a red-and-orange cloth backdrop. Dense garlands of red, yellow, purple and green flowers drape the figures and the platform. A woman in an orange sari holds a lit lamp toward the deities, while a man in an orange cloth stands at left with hands folded in prayer. Brass oil lamps and offering vessels surround the altar, and a small seated figure in front is adorned with flowers.2012-04-30A temple shrine decorated with a mix of marigold-type flower garlands in red, yellow, white and purple. Two large metal deity murtis stand at the center, one wearing a red crown and jewelled necklaces, the other wearing a tall ornate crown and green garment. In front, a small figure sits on a red-draped platform garlanded with flowers. A woman in an orange sari stands at the shrine's left side reaching toward the deities, while a man in orange robes with a bare shaved head stands at the lower left beside a brass pot. Brass oil lamps (deepas) flank the platform, and a gilded golden canopy frames the right side.2012-04-30A photo of a temple ritual centred on a golden, flower-decorated deity murti of a goddess, seated on an ornate golden throne-like structure with garlands of white jasmine and red, yellow and purple flowers. The murti wears a gold crown, silver-and-gold jewellery, a green and gold sari and holds a pink lotus. In the foreground a man with his hair tied up and bare-shouldered, wrapped in orange cloth with gold borders, stands behind the murti and reaches up to adjust its crown. Orange drapery and a gold arch frame the scene. No identifiable a person candidate is visible in the figure's appearance, so the person is described only by role.2012-04-30April 30 20122012-04-30A man in orange-saffron robes and a matching orange shawl performs an aarti ritual, holding a silver lamp with a flame in one hand and a silver handbell in the other. He wears a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant necklace, with a small red mark on his forehead. Behind him stand two ornately adorned golden deity murti figures, one wearing an orange crown and the other a black and red decorated crown, both draped in white and yellow flower garlands and jeweled necklaces. A gold throne-style frame and red and yellow floral decorations fill the background, with a pink lotus held by one murti.2012-04-30Photo of a temple sanctum decorated with a multicoloured garland of marigolds, roses and white flowers. A standing priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, hands folded in namaskar, faces two large golden deity murtis with crowns and jewelled necklaces, one with a crown and the other with an ornate headdress, flanked by brass oil lamps (deepa stands). A small child-sized murti in white and a red-garlanded figure stand nearby, with a golden arched niche to the right. A second person in orange clothing is partly visible at the left edge, so the scene shows a puja and ritual honouring of the deities. No one is identified as a person by appearance cues.2012-04-30December 14 20112011-12-14 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20162016-01-03April 30 20122012-04-30April 24 20122012-04-24April 30 20122012-04-30June 26 20182018-06-26
