January 11 20142014-01-11January 11 20142014-01-11A homa is being performed outdoors before a hedge and tall trees. A priest in an orange robe and a red-and-orange turban stands at left, holding a ladle over a metal bowl of offerings. Beside him, a bright fire burns in a pit of yellow bricks. Behind the fire, a maroon cloth covers a platform where three kalasha pots with mango leaves and coconut-like tops are set, one decorated with a white garland and a red-and-white patterned pot. Two seated figures, one in an orange cloth and one in white, sit on blue brocade with garlands at the centre. Several people in white and dark clothing sit in the foreground watching.2014-01-11Night outdoor photo of a young man in a rust-orange turban and orange-red shawl over bare shoulders, wearing a beaded rudraksha-style mala and gold-toned necklace, holding a bundle of grass stalks over a decorated kalasha with a white cloth and a yellow marigold garland. Coconuts with green leaves sit in front, and a red cloth covers part of an altar-like arrangement. A blurred shrub and lit building appear behind. The setting suggests a ritual puja at an outdoor altar. No a person candidate can be confidently identified from appearance, so the figure is described only by role as a ritual participant.2014-05-21January 11 20142014-01-11May 22 20142014-05-22 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a ritual display on a maroon-draped table in front of a hedge and palm trees. Several kalasha-style pots are dressed in gold and blue silk with beaded necklaces and red stones, topped with orange and yellow coconut-fibre bundles and green leaves. Two larger pots sit centrally on a blue and gold brocade cloth, one in orange cloth and one in white. Foreground shows blurred yellow bricks and a metal bowl, with the heads of spectators at the bottom edge. No people are clearly visible as persons; the figures are decorated pots, not humans.2014-01-11March 26th 20142014-03-26Outdoor night ritual photo. A man in a maroon-red dhoti with gold-bordered shawl, orange-red turban, layered gold and beaded necklaces and an earpiece microphone stands at a table draped in teal and gold brocade. He holds a small silver bell in one hand and a lit incense stick in the other, raising the incense over several potted offerings wrapped in yellow and maroon cloth with green leaves, beside a silver pot. The setting is dark with lamps and a tree trunk behind. Whether this man is the presenter cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the role is given as priest performing a puja.2013-12-20April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesApril 26 20182018-04-26April 26 20182018-04-26
