December 31 20132013-12-31December 31 20132013-12-31A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe with a beaded rudraksha-style mala draped over the shoulder touches the forehead of a young boy in a navy long-sleeved shirt and plaid shorts. The boy holds a red apple. To the right, a smiling woman in an orange kurta with a red-beaded necklace and red bangles watches. Behind them, a woman in a white and gold-bordered sari stands in the background, and red apples sit on a table draped with purple cloth. The seated figure's identity is not established by the image, so the role is given as a priest-like giver of blessing.2013-12-31December 31 20132013-12-31December 31 20132013-12-31 +2 copiesOctober 10th 20152015-10-10A seated man in an orange-gold saffron wrap and multiple beaded rudraksha-style necklaces places his right palm on the forehead of a smiling young girl in a white top and orange-red lanyard. A woman in white with a red-orange shawl and beaded necklace smiles behind them. Gold-toned ornate furniture, a red cloth and a white panel surround the scene. The girl's hands are raised in greeting, and the man's eyes are closed in blessing.2015-07-19A photograph inside a home with orange-painted walls during a house visit ritual. A woman in a rust-red and gold-bordered sari with gold bangles and necklace kneels on the floor, placing her hand on the head of a seated person in a green blouse with a purple shawl. Around them, devotees in white shirts and a pink dupatta watch; a standing ascetic in saffron-orange cloth with a rudraksha mala stands in the back. A bowl and an apple-like fruit are visible in the lower right. The scene resembles a padapuja or blessing at a devotee's home; no clearly identifiable a person figure is present.2014-07-07July 09 20122012-07-09March 24 20132013-03-24December 31 20132013-12-31A candid indoor photo of a devotional gathering in a plain cream-walled room. A woman in an orange sannyasi-style garment with long loose hair sits on the right, smiling broadly while a hand rests on the head of a small toddler in a grey top held by a man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala. On the left, a woman in a white sari with gold border touches her forehead and laughs. Behind them, a woman in a yellow shawl and white sari stands near a table with fruit and a metal vessel. The orange-clad woman does not show distinctive male-presenting a person cues, so no in-person identification is made.2010-02-04
