A photo of a formal temple-style reception indoors. A woman with yellow flower garland, sandalwood-painted forehead and gold-bordered maroon sari kneels and extends both hands toward a man in an orange saffron robe and matching orange cloth draped on his shoulders, who wears an orange cap and has a full dark beard. A man in a dark jacket with an orange shawl stands at right with hands joined in greeting. Behind them, shaved-headed priests in orange and brown wraps stand, one with a rudraksha-style necklace, and a white-draped table holds an orange cloth and a gold-toned ceremonial vessel. Warm wood-panelled walls and a small brass lamp complete the setting. Four people are clearly visible.2012-01-09October 19 20132013-10-19October 19 20132013-10-19March 25 20142014-03-25March 25 20142014-03-25A photograph of a man in an orange sweater and a red knitted cap smiling as a seated, bare-chested priest in a red and gold cloth drapes an orange shawl over his shoulders. In the centre, an elderly man with long white hair and beard wears a saffron robe and orange shawl, his hands extended in greeting toward a woman at right. She wears a rust-red head wrap, a red-brown garment, pearl necklaces and bangles, and holds a golden lion-headed object wrapped in orange cloth. Beside them a bald man in a brown-red garment and rudraksha mala stands, and to the right another man in orange adjusts cloth. Men at left wear orange robes and beards. Possibly a satsang gathering in Haridwar.2014-03-20Outdoor evening ceremony in which a man with long dark matted hair and a yellow-orange marigold garland, wearing a brown robe and gold bangles and armlets, leans in to drape an orange cloth over a seated bearded man in orange robes and beaded crystal necklaces. The seated man has a yellow tilak on his forehead. Around them, a man in an orange turban holds a silver rod overhead, another orange-robed man sits in the foreground, and white-clad attendants wearing rudraksha malas stand behind. A man at left holds a camera. The setting appears to be a ritual gathering with a microphone stand visible.2016-07-15
