A figure in an orange saffron wrap and orange turban pours liquid from a brass vessel on a ritual table while raising a lit lamp, with a silver kalasha-like urn and brass plates on the altar. A bald man in white clothing stands at left watching, and a seated person in pale clothing presses palms together at right. A standing person in a dark top is near a speaker on the wall. A purple-and-white bird emblem hangs in the upper left corner.

A figure in orange robes sits on a white-draped seat with a microphone on a stand, while a person in white sits on the floor beside it. Two women in white sit on a red mat in the middle, and a video camera on a tripod records the gathering. A large crowd in white sits on the floor at left, with hanging orange and patterned cloth decorations overhead.

A photograph of an open-sided, corrugated-roof pavilion with concrete pillars and a sandy floor, set up for a celebration. A man in a blue shirt and brown trousers leans a long wooden ladder against a pillar and reaches up toward a colourful striped banner, while a second man in a white shirt stands on the ladder above him. Strings of small red triangular pennants with dark circular emblems hang across the ceiling. An older man on the right, in white dhoti and shirt with a beaded mala around his neck, stands barefoot looking upward at the work. Palm trees and a partly built wall are visible outside.

Photograph of an open-sided white-walled hall under a stretched white canvas roof with wooden beams, palm trees visible beyond. A man in white shirt and dark trousers stands on the wall top, placing a dark tarpaulin over the beams. Below, a man in white clothing stands on a metal stepladder while another man in white helps steady it. Along the right, about a dozen men in white clothes sit on the floor in a row, some standing nearby, beside a shrine with red and orange deity decorations on the far right. Wire mesh screens line the left wall.

A photograph inside a thatched-roof hut with a cinderblock wall and a dirt floor.
