Photograph of a crowded seated gathering of mostly bare-chested men at a Shiva Deeksha-style satsang. In the centre, a young boy with short dark hair and a thin white sacred thread across his bare chest sits with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. To his left, an older bald man with grey stubble and a white sacred thread looks on, and other seated devotees with white threads and tilak marks fill the background. No a person candidate is clearly visible; the crowd members shown are devotees.2017-05-10A dense crowd of bare-chested men sits closely together outdoors. In the centre, a young man with short dark hair, a small red forehead mark and a rudraksha bead on a white cord has his eyes closed and palms pressed together in namaste. Older men with grey hair and white or red shoulder cloths flank him, several with white tilak marks on their faces, and one lower-left man has a shaved head. The setting suggests a ritual gathering such as a satsang or initiation, though no deity, throne or a person candidate is visible in this frame.2017-05-10May 04 20172017-05-04A large crowd of bare-chested boys and young men sits closely packed in meditation, many with eyes closed. Their upper bodies are unclothed, wearing white dhoti cloths, white horizontal vibhuti or sacred ash marks on foreheads and bodies, and rudraksha or beaded necklaces. In the centre, a bearded man with curly hair and a dark rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed and white ash lines on his chest and face. Blurred figures in the foreground frame the scene.2017-02-15A photograph of a ritual blessing in a hall. A bare-chested young boy with short dark hair and a red-orange pendant on a cord sits looking forward while a man with long dreadlocked hair and a beard, wearing a pink and white flower garland, places his hand on the boy's forehead. Behind them, a shirtless youth in white dhoti and sacred thread stands, with more people in white clothing and a red-clad figure blurred in the background.2017-05-04A large crowd of mostly bare-chested young men and boys sits closely packed in meditation, eyes closed, with white and grey sacred ash marks on their foreheads and necks. The central young man wears a white beaded necklace with an orange pendant, and several around him wear rudraksha or bead malas. Some wear white dhotis. The blurred foreground and background show many more seated participants.2017-02-15Close photo of a young man in a white dhoti and white shirt with eyes closed, receiving a blessing as an older man's hand, wearing gold bangles and a red thread, rests on his head. Behind them, several men in white and cream ritual garments, some with long hair, one with a gold-bordered cloth, stand watching. The setting is an indoor hall with maroon drapes. The scene suggests a darshan-type blessing during the Inner Awakening program.2017-05-05January 04 20162016-01-04April 03 20172017-04-03May 13 20182018-05-13February 05 20172017-02-05A crowded seated gathering of men, many bare-chested with white sacred ash marks on their foreheads and bodies, sitting closely together during a Vishesha Deeksha session. In the centre, a young man wearing clear-framed glasses, a black rudraksha mala and a white sacred thread across his chest looks directly ahead with a serious expression. Around him, other men in white dhoti-style cloth and gold chains sit in a dense cluster, some partly out of focus. The scene is a photograph of devotees seated for the initiation.2017-04-06
