A dusty open ground in front of a blue-and-cream temple with a red and yellow deity panel above its gate and a rocky hill behind. A procession moves across the ground: drummers in white dhotis and colourful cloth carry large drums, a man in white wears a horn-style instrument, and a crowd of men, women and children in white and orange follows. A small ornate umbrella or canopy is visible in the crowd. A green truck and parked vehicles stand along the road, with a shop stall to the left.

A photograph of an outdoor procession on a dirt road in front of a forested hill. Four men in white dhotis and shirts play long wind instruments (nadaswaram-style pipes) and one man in a white dhoti beats a barrel drum. Behind them, several sannyasis in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces walk in a line, one carrying a folded white cloth over his arm. A red-roofed shed with bunting and banana plants stands in the background, with white pillars and plastic chairs at the right edge. People are visible at the far left and in the background.

A large street procession moves along a paved road lined with parked trucks, a yellow lorry, a white ambulance and a row of small shops. Many devotees in white dhotis and white shirts, several wearing saffron-orange shawls, walk in dense groups. Some carry orange flags and colourful decorated umbrellas or banners, and drummers with drums lead the line. Bystanders stand at the roadside in mixed clothing. Trees and utility poles line the street under a bright sky.

A procession on a dusty dirt road moves past hills and trees under a clear sky. Men in white dhotis and shirts play drums, including a large drum with a red body, and a man in a teal shirt and white dhoti plays a long brass horn. Behind them, women in white saris and a young girl in red walk alongside orange-red flags and decorated umbrellas with red-and-gold tops. A white van with a speaker sits in the middle of the group. No one in the scene is clearly identifiable as a person.

Outdoor village street procession in Tamil Nadu with a large crowd of men and women moving past a colourful temple gopuram on the left. Drummers in white dhotis and bare-chested men carry drums, and a man in an orange robe, with a camera operator in white beside him, walks near the center. Behind, a red umbrella and a decorated palanquin or chariot are visible among the crowd. Women wear saris in red, pink and blue, and a signboard and white wall with Tamil text line the road beside orange flags on poles.

A photograph of a dirt-road procession in front of a hillside with dense green trees and a low red-roofed building. Drummers in white dhotis lead the group, one striking a long barrel-shaped drum slung from the shoulder while another man blows a long brass horn. A woman in a purple sari with a gold border blows a horn beside a woman in an orange sari. Behind them, a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and bare chest walks under a bright orange umbrella, appearing as a probable Swamiji (probable), with long dark hair and a crown-free head. Men in white shirts and dhotis follow, some wearing garlands, and a thin smoke trail rises from the left. The scene is a religious procession with musicians and a robed leader.
