At the centre, an ornate golden palanquin carries a decorated deity murti flanked by garlands, with orange flags raised beside it. A crowd of devotees, women in saffron and blue saris and men in white shirts, lines the road, and a woman holds a small child at left.

Several large canopies with red, orange and blue panels and gold finials are carried on poles above the group. Many men and women in white dhotis, kurtas and saris walk in the procession, with orange shawls among them. Drummers in front play drums held at the waist, and a man in white with a rudraksha-style mala leads a pair of shoulder-carried poles topped with ornate silver finials.
