A photograph inside a gold-decorated temple hall at night, with banana plants and string lights. In the centre stands a life-size cutout figure of a bearded man in an orange turban, rust-coloured dhoti and shawl, wearing a long red and yellow marigold garland. Behind it, several men in dark red robes stand with hands folded or hold lamps, and a woman in a red sari with gold jewellery sits near a golden altar. Gold-framed shrines hold deity murtis and a golden palanquin-style seat stands at right. The central figure is a printed cutout rather than a physical person, so the visible physical people are the robed attendants and the woman.2019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16A gilded temple hall at night with several deity murtis draped in red, pink and multicolour garlands beside a golden archway. To the right stands a life-size cutout board of a smiling man in an orange-red turban, a rose-and-yellow garland and an ochre robe, hands joined in greeting. Behind it, two men in orange and saffron robes stand with hands folded in prayer. Banana plants and red-and-white fabric hang along the upper balcony, and bright lights shine overhead.2019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16A photo inside a gold-decorated temple hall at night. Around it, people in orange and maroon robes and rudraksha malas walk and carry trays of pink flowers. On the right, a large dark deity murti wears a striped crown and jewelled ornaments. A gold yantra-marked pedestal stands in front, and a gilded deity shrine with a garland is at the left edge.2019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16July 16 20192019-07-16A bearded man in a rust-brown robe stands before an elaborately decorated shrine, smiling and raising one hand in blessing. He wears a heavy gold necklace, a large rudraksha mala, bangles and a shoulder wrap, with a rust-coloured turban on his head. Behind him is a golden deity murti seated on a throne with a raised hand, dressed in gold jewellery and a crown, with a kalasha-style sculpture decorated with garlands. Garlands of white, yellow, red and multicoloured flowers frame the arch behind them. Golden statues of standing figures flank the scene, one in a blue turban, and gilded lamp stands with yellow flower garlands are visible at the right edge.2016-12-23 +1 copiesDecember 23 20162016-12-23December 03 20162016-12-03
