July 10 20162016-07-10Devotees gather in a red-draped temple room with golden pillars and brass lamps. In the foreground, a seated figure in a rust-orange wrap, rudraksha mala and gold bangles extends a hand as an elderly man in a white shirt and grey trousers bows low to touch it. Behind them, a bald priest in a saffron-brown dhoti with a white-and-gold beaded necklace stands near a golden staff, while women in cream and green saris and headscarves look on. A pale-yellow sari wearer with a rudraksha mala raises a finger to her lips. Several other people stand in the background. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone; the scene is darshan with pada-puja-style respect.2015-10-26A photograph of a ceremonial exchange in an ornate red-draped setting with gold-carved shrine elements. A bare-chested man in a rust-red turban and a yellow marigold garland, with rudraksha beads on his chest, extends a small golden object, apparently a figure of a seated animal, toward an older man in white dhoti with an orange-saffron shawl, who bows with hands folded. Behind them a priest in orange and a second man wearing glasses and rudraksha mala stand near, and several people in saris and shirts watch from the back, some in yellow and white. A bright lamp light glows in the background.2015-10-25A seated figure on a gold-and-red throne, wearing a saffron-orange turban and saffron-orange robes with a gold-embroidered shawl, reaches out to shake hands with a devotee in a pale pink shirt and white dhoti. Behind the throne stands a decorated deity murti garlanded with yellow and red flowers, and a gold-painted lion-headed piece sits nearby. Around them, a man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala holds a printed booklet, a woman in white wears a mala, and several elderly men in white and cream clothing press their palms together, some holding fruit. Red curtains and a pale wall frame the room.2014-10-26May 27 20152015-05-27A seated man in a rust-orange turban with a gold crescent ornament and an orange robe, wearing multiple gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beaded malas, places his right hand on the head of a man in a light beige shirt who bows forward holding a gold-covered book. Behind them a man with a yellow tilak and white dhoti stands, and a red-and-gold throne with gold carved panels, potted green plants and a camera operator appear in the background. The scene resembles a blessing or initiation moment.2016-06-29October 25 20152015-10-25A seated figure in a deep red-orange robe and matching turban, with long beaded necklaces and rudraksha malas, sits on a gold-and-yellow throne in an ornate temple-style hall. Behind him hangs a large garland of yellow, orange and green flowers, and a gilded lamp stand is visible at left. An elderly woman in a cream sari, wearing gold bangles and glasses, kneels and offers a white cloth to the seated figure's extended hand. Beside her, a bald man in white with a yellow shawl and a rudraksha mala stands with hands folded, and a younger woman sits at the right near gold ritual vessels. A man in white stands at far left near an air conditioner, and a further person is partly visible behind the throne. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with Swamiji (probable), with the red turban, long beaded necklaces and rudraksha malas as cues, receiving a devotee in a blessing-type exchange.2015-07-31October 25 20152015-10-25May 27 20152015-05-27October 25 20152015-10-25October 25 20152015-10-25
