A mat with a blue border runs along the left edge. At the top left, a seated person in white dhoti and cloth sits at the row's head, with only their arm and lap visible; a few metal serving vessels sit at the far top edge. The image is a photograph of a meal being served in an ashram dining hall.2011-11-07November 11 20162016-11-11 +1 copiesPhoto 11712545A photograph of a long row of banana leaf meals laid out on a pale tiled floor. Each leaf holds a portion of rice, a flatbread, crisp wafers, orange grated vegetables, a fried item, sliced fruit and small white cups of liquid. Seated at the left edge, a man in white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth sits cross-legged, his hand reaching toward a leaf, while another person in orange robes reads an open book further back. The scene suggests a communal meal served to seated participants.2011-11-07September 30 20162016-09-30Photo 11680823
