Devotees sit on the floor of a covered orange-walled hall during a satsang, many with hands pressed together in namaskar. Most wear white ritual clothing; a woman in a green and gold sari sits on the front-left mat beside a red carpet, and a man in a red shirt sits to the right. Tall cylindrical banners in red, yellow and blue patterns hang along the room, and framed panels line the walls. At the far right edge, a figure in saffron and white stands near a wooden lectern. No clearly distinctive appearance cues establish his identity, so he is described only by role.2010-08-15August 15 20102010-08-15February 16 20072007-02-16October 31 20102010-10-31 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated congregation inside a large hall with a corrugated metal roof and yellow steel scaffolding. Two tall decorated pillars wrapped in colourful patterned fabric stand in the frame, and lattice windows let in bright light. Many people in white clothes sit on the floor, several with white head coverings and some wearing mala beads. In the foreground a man in the centre wears a saffron-orange shawl over white clothes, and a man at right wears a dark mala and white garments. The scene is a seated satsang-style gathering with no visible deity, throne or speaker identifiable as a specific person.2005-12-20July 16 20082008-07-16Wide view inside an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof and orange-brown walls. Rows of people in white clothes sit cross-legged on mats in the foreground, seen from behind. A decorated shrine at the far end holds a colourful deity murti with garlands and lamps. A person in white stands at a lectern or table to the right, and a seated figure in white sits on a chair at the far left. Hanging black and red textile panels with floral motifs frame the hall. Metal railings divide the seating area. Ritual setup suggests a puja, though the specific rite is not clearly visible.2010-09-25A dimly lit indoor hall where a large seated crowd of devotees faces toward a distant altar. Many men in white dhotis and shirts, some in orange or saffron tops, sit close together on mats; a man in white with a rudraksha mala sits at right, and a young man in an orange kurta sits near him. Fabric banners in orange, red and blue hang from the upper left, and a lit lamp glows near a shrine area in the background with a figure in white near an altar.2011-07-08June 27 20102010-06-27A photograph of a large hall with a crowd of seated devotees on chairs and striped floor mats, many wearing white dhotis and kurtas. Overhead hang colourful banners and lights, and a standing figure in white with an orange wrap stands near the back. A decorative panel and wall displays are visible at the right edge.2008-04-19A photograph of a covered open hall with a corrugated roof and exposed steel trusses, where a crowd of devotees sits cross-legged on woven mats facing a shrine. Most devotees wear white clothing. At the front, a seated man in a white shirt sits on a chair at the left edge, and a standing figure in a grey top stands at the right. The shrine holds a decorated deity murti with garlands and ornaments, framed by a red and gold arch and flanked by stone figures, with a pink curtain at the side. Tall decorative pillars with patterned panels line the hall, and a steel railing separates the seating area from the walkway.2010-09-25October 31 20102010-10-31 +2 copies
